Firstly, for all those people 'saving it for marriage', you are about to be very dissapointed. Sex is very over rated and does not really fee like anything - you will hurt and all this stuff about 'you love him so its ok that it hurts', is a lie. About a month ago, I had sex for the first time. It didnt really hurt, I thought it would, but it didnt. When he first went in I was being stretched, and then when he started thrusting it felt kind of comfortable, not nice but comfortable. He didnt use a condom, and he used lots and lots of lube, and so maybe thats why it didnt hurt. I enjoyed it and after I wanted to do it again. Anyway, then I went away for a month and last night we did it for the second time, and it hurt so much I was about to stay stop. He used a condom and no extra lube and it hurt so much it made me feel sick and nauseus, after I just wanted to push him away and not for him to touch me. We tried different positions and when we were doing dogie it felt like I really needed to sh*t, I didnt enjoy it and dont want to do it again. It really hurt and felt rough and I felt sick and gross during the whole thing. I love him, but after sex I just felt like ew go away I dont want you near me. Sex is the biggest lie youve ever been told - it is so over rated and isnt amazing at all. Dont hype yourself over it, you dont feel like anything after and nothing changes. Hope this helps

My boyfriend and I are planning to do it this weekend at his house. I'm so scared of the responses people have given about how it hurts so much! what do you do to stop yourself from bleeding? Do you put a towel down? What if you don't have lube? Where do you get it? We have only got condoms no other type of contreseption what else can I do to prevent pregnancy Without telling my parents I'm having sex? How do I minimise the pain? How do I make it less awkward? I what if I bleed on his bed? That will for sure make things uncomfortable and weird!! if your too scared you might want to postpone it! i was terrified it would hurt heaps and heaps but it got better! it isnt really a pain, its more or less a uncomftable feeling, once you get use to it you will be fine! make sure you relax and kiss him and get him to kiss you! if it really is uncomftable you can ask him to stop as well. some people do bleed, but its not the kind of pouring out of blood like just pours out like a bucket, think when you cut your elbow only a little bit of blood comes, so you dont need a towel. you might have a little bit of brown blood and you can just wipe that away. my first time i used almond oil, instead of lube, you can really use anything oil, moisturizer (i guess its not that good for you). i would say for your first time use something, anything you can find in the house, even cooking oil, as it might not fit in you if you dont! use condomes, there is a tiny tiny chance you will get pregnant, there is a 1 in 27% chance you will get pregnant every time you have sex, and condomes are 99% effective, so you should be ok. However you can take the moning after pill if you are worried, you can get this at most pharmacys. If you love the guy it wont be awkward, mine was slightly awkward but it was fine! just smile, say i love you, kiss him and you will be fine! if you bleed in his bed he will understand, and it wont get on the sheets like you think it will, its not really like that. one of my friends who did it when she was 14 bleed EVERYWHERE though, and in his car, his sheets, EVERYWHERE, so in this case just laugh it off and be like wtf im so sorry how did this happen ahahahhaha etc etc, and he will understand. is it his first time? you cant really read articles or videos because everyone is different, its not that big of a deal but you do get attached to the guy even if you think you wont and you will be strong and wont love him etc etc... but you will. everyones time is diffrent, so dont compare yours to others. just look at it as making love instead of sex. I'm a bit worried about this being awkward, my bestfriend asked me to have sex with him in the future and do a kind of friends with benefits thing but I'm still a virgin, I told him this tho and he's cool with it, I want to loose it to him and I like him but he doesn't feel the same, so I'm confused to why he wants to do this! You need to know that sex confuses a lot of things. Even if you don't think you will be attached to him, you will. Boys however find sex very different and do not get attached. You need to be careful that you don't get confused and not know whats happening. This is often why girls regret having sex. If he does not feel the same then he wont care when you are upset and will throw you away. This could easily result in you being heart broken. I would think carefully about this as you may end up being very upset and heart broken. This happened to one of my best friends where she didn't think she would get attached to him, however she did and now she is very upset and regrets it a lot. Also think about all the movies with friends with benefits, it always ends up in a relationship or both being heartbroken.

Thanks! I was thinkin that myself really, cause I've been friends with him for like 3 years and I did notice he's been droppin hints about it for quite a while, until he told me flat out the other day. Its a nightmare trying to weigh up the pros and cons of such a messed up situation!

One tip. When he's on top and first penetrating you wrap your legs around him. This lifts your hips and creates a better angle. It goes in much easier this way.

if you have got your period, that means your hymen is already broken or the blood wouldn't be able to come out. it naturally tears through your teens and by the time you have sex, chances are it's "broken"!! when you first have sex you are just stretching the hymen and the blood comes from lightly tearing it..it's not as horrific as it sounds! if you relax your muscles down there, it won't be sore!

I'm not sure where you have got that information from about the hymen being broke if your having periods but that's totally untrue!
The hymen is perforated either with 1 single small hold or many tiny holes to let the menstrual flow and any discharge leave the body. I would suggest before you sort replies you research the subject first.

Hi, Your hymen being in place or having masturbated previously has nothing to do with it. It has everything to do with his size, and your own. It's different for everyone. For myself I had a very gentle and understanding partner, so it wasn't painful. However, your muscles haven't stretched to accommodate a penis yet so I can only relate it to a new stretch. There's pressure, but it's nothing to be afraid of. I hope it's with someone who you care about and who cares about you. That and proper lubrication makes all the difference.
