Colloidal Silver kills hundreds of different organisms: Viruses, Bacteria, Fungus/Yeast, Parasites and Amoebas. Gargle with it especially on the side of the affected ear. Put a few drops in ear as long as your eardrum is not perforated.

Try Onion juice (raw) directly in ear. Make sure your eardrum is intact before putting anything in it. Maybe this will help drain the Eustachian tube. Cover ear with a piece of cotton and lay with affected ear up. Place warm pack onto ear and rest like this.

I am not a doctor, and do not claim that these above suggestions are a cure. Don't know how long to hold onion juice in ear or if it is irritating. I have used onion juice in my ear and there was no problem.

ok its been 6 mths dialation...and the pressure i felt is much better. i can hear my echo at times but it eventually subsides. dr seems to think i have etd and Ménière's disease.  So i get dizzy episodes and ear fluctuation. But for now..my ear pressure is great. i can pop my ears too.  I went to a dr. in Beverly Hills that was recommended.  If you read my post above you will see his name --Dr. Allessi.  I am also doing allergy shots since my doc thinks that may also be complicating things.  I will admit i think my ear issues were aggravated more during pregnancy...and at this point i have adjusted to my situation.  The dialiation surgery did help though and I have no regrets about having the surgery. Sorry for the late reply. I have tried to stay away from the boards. When i was going through this when pregnant and post pregnancy my ear issues caused major depression. I think reading and researching this made me more anxious.  So I stayed of etd forums.  My bb is 7 months old and when she was 3 months old i realized i was deeply depressed cuz of this.....thank god I am better mentally and physically...today my dizzies came back and they get intense at moments...but I am resilient and a fighter.

Thank you for sharing and I agree, sometimes visitng these forums is not helpful at all. Especially some of the wacky advice that is more dangerous than helpful. Im not sure what you mean by dilation surgery. Can you give more detail on what that is and why they decided on that for you? How do you know if it was the surgery or the allergy shots that helped you? Was your whole ordeal brought on allergies in the first place? Thank you and glad you are feeling much better.

6 years and counting, despite 3 visits to the specialist. It's had a massive impact on my general health and looks like it might cost me my job.

Good to hear that, I'm a Malaysian too and I'm from kl as well. May I know how you ordered the ear popper and is it direct shipping from the US or you have to pay for another shipping company to deliver it to Malaysia? Or would you like to sell off your ear popper to me?

I've had it for 9 years now. The best thing to do is to take flonase in combination with something like Claritin D. Also, living in a town that is higher up in altitude is not a good idea. Living at sea level is your best bet. If you've had it for so long, it sucks, but you just learn to deal with it and not let it run your life. Best a luck.

I have had the same problem since june trying everything over the counter, finally went to ENT and gave me a prescription for Cortisone nose spray, she said I should use it daily for three months and a couple of weeks after the Eusachian tubes open, if there is no relief by then she said she would put tubes in the ears, I have only been using the spray for a month so hopefully soon it will stop the annoying clogged ears. I am on antidepressant for the anxiety this was causing. Have you had any luck since then?

Thank you Dianne V. in Canada.....suffering terribly here in Toronto for past 3 months, tried all kids of decongestants, allergy meds, nasal sprays, cough drops, gum, 3 types of antibiotics, mucous and phlegm cough medicine, Advil Cold and Sinus plus, Sudafed, Dayquil, Vicks Vaporub, Cipradex eardrops.....just about everything. This started when I used a nasal rinse and blew my nose, it plugged my ear and now they are both plugged. The sensation of fullness is unbearable. Left ear leaks fluid, gets crusty and itchy, and makes crackling noises, right ear is always more plugged than the left. Sometimes after sleeping they feel somewhat better. I have had a CT scan on head, xray of sinuses and adenoids, xray of TMJ joint, I have severe panic attacks, I am claustrophobic and am barely functional. I wake up in the night from severe panic attacks, thinking that I am going deaf. The only relief I get is when I wear ear muffs, it takes away the plugged, fullness feeling. Can't associate with anyone anymore, have lost over 50 pounds, unable to eat. Have seen two ENT's who say my hearing and pressure tests were normal, not much they can do, they don't know what to do. I am at the end of my rope. Please help!!!! Nadine in Toronto

Wow! I cant belirve that 9 months of eustachian tube dysfunctio cleared up. You know its been clogged since November due to allergy/colds. And i know that I drank milk before sleeping. Until now, I hear a little after drinking meds anti-histamine. Dont drink meds that cant related to your nose. Only eustachian dysfunction can be cured. Sadly, i dont want to do myritonomy which is surgical because I have hearing aid. I have so many experiences that eustachian tube dysfunction cant be cleared. I will keep faith that someday my normal hearing will be back.

I wish they would put me on one! Two different doctors have told me that I don't have infection so won't put me on them. My PA dr said maybe allergies so put me on flonase, afrin, and sudafed. That did nothing so I went to an ENT that told me it's not allergies and those products would do nothing so she put me a Water Pill. It's not helping! I'm crazy! This has never happened to me before! So mad and want it to go away!
