This is more of a grumbling than a question. I didn’t want to stop cycling when colder days came. Cold weather is not the problem, but when it’s windy it’s awful. When the wind is blowing in my face I can hardly breathe, not to mention headaches I get after that. It’s a bit easier when it’s blowing at my back, I get home faster, but still I don’t like wind. What do you do when it’s windy?

I also cycle during winter and what I hate is rain. Wind doesn’t make me any problems. I always dress appropriately and I’m not cold. So, a good windbreaker will make you feel more comfortable. And I don’t know what to say about this breathing part. Headaches can be avoided if you wear a cap or a headband. But be careful not to cover your ears so that you can hear the vehicles passing by. Don’t forget gloves and other parts of winter equipment. It’s advised that you ride in such direction that when you are coming back home, the wind blows at your back. It can be helpful, since by then you’re probably pretty tired and wind helps you cycle faster.
