Hi,

In 4 weeks at school theres a 5km run, so I thought I might as well get in shape for it. I ran a few 5km runs last week and managed to do it in just under 24:30. So my question is, what should my training schedule be for the next 4 weeks? Im willing to train pretty hard, but have some time restraints with school and homework. Im 16yo, 176cm and weigh about 63kg. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also after the race Im thinking of keeping up with running. What is a good training regime for keeping fit and trim and increasing my speed over long and short distances? Basically an all round regime, im willing to work pretty hard, but I dont wont it to be so intense that ill give up after a month or so. Thankyou in advance.
