I have always cycled on flat terrain. I am pretty good at it. However everybody needs a change. In order to change my workouts and scenery I have decided to try climbing the hills with my bike. I would appreciate hill climb training advice since I have tried several times but wasn’t very successful. Thank you.

Climbing hills is demanding discipline. You have to have strong leg muscles. Like with everything else, you should start easy. Since we are talking pure power here, you have to strengthen your leg muscles. The best way to achieve this is doing sprint intervals and lifting weights. When you build strength and power you will be able to ride hills as well. You will be in a position to enjoy high speed when descending steep inclines.
