I had a baby a year ago on 4/20/12 and 6 months ago I got them Implanon bar in my arm just recently I got that bar removed and 4 days ago I had unprotected sex and today as well I had unprotected sex I am I most likely pregnant?

Hi Guest,

There is a chance of pregnancy.

Just because you have sex does not mean you will get pregnant.  Even when everything is "perfect" the odds of pregnancy are only about 1 chance in 5.

Hope it helps.

You could definitely be pregnant. The rapid return to fertility after removal is one of the biggest advantages of the Implanon/Nexplanon contraceptive method. Most women ovulate within a moth of having the bar removed. As Dan says, getting pregnant is a numbers game too. You obviously know that :).

If you have sex every day, you have a 37 percent chance of getting pregnant per cycle, and you have a 33 percent chance if you have sex every other day. Keep up the good work! (You could also decide to add some kind of ovulation-tracking method to increase your odds even more!)
