I am on my 5th week after HOLEP surgery. I still have pain at the end of urination, urethra is raw

Hi all,

I am on my 5th week after HOLEP surgery.  I still have pain at the end of urination but I find myself with a sensation that I have to urinate a lot.- every 15 - 30 minutes .  I do not know if this is because the inside of my urethra and prostate are raw and irritated by acidic urine.  These feelings may be causing me to feel as if I need to go perhaps.  Does anybody else have this sort of recovery with HOLEP.  Is this normal recovery.  If so, how long do these problems last?  Ray
