I am 19 years old and am still attracted to girls as young as 13! I am so disgusted with myself I can barely look in the mirror without seeing a pedophile. I would never dream of raping or picking up girls that young, but I do think about it a lot. I want to get help so badly but I don't know what to do! I can't tell anyone because all I have is my family and friends and I know they would be equally disgusted with me, if not more so. I am trying my best not to think about it but I just can't stop!>.> Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I had a friend who went thru the same thing, and still struggles from time to time. /you first need to find someone you can confide in and use kind of like a back bone to support you. support and someone to talk to is always good to have around. Also, one of the "mental" tactics i advised my other friend was to think about that person as something different or something gross. It really seemed to help and work for them as well as talking about the feelings and how they dealt with each event. Thoughts are hard to control, but thhey can not label you. It is your actions that speak the loudest, and from what I can gather, you seen like a good person struggling with unwanted thoughts. Give the thinking/seeing tactic a try, and i really think a support person to verbalize sometimes would be a great first step.

Thanks^^ I'll give that a try. I am more attracted to girls my own age (19-20) and would never choose a 13 year old over a 19 year old girl. It might just be a phase because I don't have many ex's my age. Once I find a girl my age again I am sure the thoughts will stop. Thanks for the advice.

Well it would help, but I can't imagine that because I don't have a sister, or a younger sibling at all. I do have a younger cousin by she's like, 15. I would never flirt with a girl who is under 16, and even then I would still be careful. I would probably wait until they turned 18 to actually go out with them.
