I realize this is not a good plan not going to the doctor and pushing more.  But I hate to have doctors bothered if I have nothing.

I fell out of my front door, over a threshold, a little over a week ago.  My foot went down half on the treshold toes to the stair and I fell like nothing else.  Lucky for me, my wrist was already broken, from another klutz fall and the cast caugt the arm as I went down.  The pain was unbearable.  I went in that night to the er and they took xrays, saw nothing, and diagnosed a sprained ankle. Wrapped it, sent me home. Over the next few days I became this horrible, huge, purple mess. Top of my foot was 3 times it's normal size, purple, and I had a black ring around the back and sides of my ankle.  My family begged me to go into the place taking care of my wrist. I decided to literally not move it except to go to the bathroom and such for 2 1/2 days to see if it got better. The purple on the top of my foot was mostly gone, it was only double the size, and the black marks around my ankle were just purple. Now that the selling was down though, the pain was unbearable. I went in to the doctor a week after I fell.  I explained how the top/middle of my foot hurt across it, sometimes the front of where the leg meets the foot. My bottom of my foot when walking at my arch yet no bruising there. She looked at the xrays, said nothing was wrong, and it was the outside of my ankle that was spained as my ankle bones are enormous as well. Gave me this story that something from my ankle connects to the middle of my foot and it's why my foot hurts so much with weight on it. Even though she was the same doctor that took 2 xrays and an mri that I pushed for on my wrist to find a break, I trusted her.  I had no idea what kind of foot injuries are out there.  I felt it really didn't work as an ankle thing when my ankle felt fine.  But whatever.  She gave me a boot and told me to take it off when I drive and just to walk on it.  I ended up hearing about a midfoot injury from someone who has had one and looked it up.  I never had bottom of my foot bruising.  But with where it hurts and that dark ring around the ankle, I'm thinking the lisfranc is possible. I do not want to go back and fight them if I'm crazy and overreaching. I worked SO HARD to get my wrist diagnosed, and still to this day without a cast it hurts like hell. She claims because I was in a cast I have tendonitus and is trying to convince me for cortizone shots for it. Because that pain is the same as when it went in the cast, and she will not do any after xrays, I'm not doing it. I'm seriously concerned because I just don't want long term damage. If anyone can give me advice because of my symptoms or anything or at least tell me I'm crazy and just do what she said, I would appreciate it.
