I know I'm one year late with reply, but if you still have the same problems, I'd strongly recommend checking for intestine parasites like Giardia (beaver fever) or tapeworms.

i had exactly the same symptoms. I went to bali when i was 14, and got sick over there, thought it was bali belly and six months later i was still in constant pain after either (however unpredictable and random as you say yours is) I went to so many doctors, literally for around two years and nothing helped. I dropped a lot of weight, and now suffer severe anxiety about my symptoms. I was told i had IBS and that i was lactose, gluten, and partially fructose intolerant. However i commenced using a fodmap book (EXCELLENT) for IBS and seliacs. It gives you a whole list of foods to avoid including lactose, gluten etc. This helped, but didn't erase symptoms completely and i hated living with constant unpredictability. here's the good part, mum was looking after a girl in the hospital with a very similar history to me, and she told mum that in Darwin a UK specialist had prescribed her a new drug they use all the time there could Mebeverine (sorry if i spelt that wrong but you'll find it on google) its amazing for IBS, literally a miracle drug. Since then after three years of suffering, i can finally live a better standard of life, (an occasional upset and anxiey attack still lingers) but i would definitely try it out. it really is a miracle worker.

I am going through almost the same thing. I am a 47 year old female with diverticulitis and a fistula. I spent a week in the hospital for the diverticulitis and was only given anti-biotics. I felt fine for seven months, now EVERY time I eat ANYTHING I get severe abdominal pain that causes vomiting (dry heaves or just fluid from whatever I had been drinking; I don't drink alcohol). I'm really having a difficult time; Because I'm an agoraphobic, doctors tend to not take me seriously. I'm sorry I haven't said anything helpful to you, but want you to know that you're not alone. (However, anti-biotics may be just what you need). I just want to say "Thank you sharing" and I wish you my very best!

I feel your pain girl, I can't tell you what's wrong but I can offer a few things to ease the pain, make a tea with peppermint and pine, this cures some minor pain, if it's really bad just do what I do, smoke some pot, one hit and your stomach will feel soooooooooo much better, it also relieves nausea, don't listen to the Washington nazis, it's perfectly safe and really will help, I'm not some bumbling pothead blindly spewing pro marijuana BS, im am both a recreational and medical smoker, it's helped my severe pain for the past five years. So please, try it, I'm being sincere and actually trying to help. I promise it will take all stomach pain right away, just remember not to eat anything while smoking, sometimes you forget your stomach was hurting at all lol and go to the doctor, but I must warn you they will tell you the same BS they told me, it's just stress or ibs, give you some useless pills that make things worse and send you on your way, it's sad but that's how our system works, you may even be able to get a medical card depending on what state you live in. And remember I'm not giving you a cure, just a safe efficient way to relieve your symptoms.

I found this thread while looking for answers. I'm 33 and within a couple of mins after eating I've got lower intestine cramps, gas out both ends and bloating and diarrhea. You can even audibly hear my guts/stomach working. This is out of nowhere for about the last 4 days. Other than these symptoms I don't feel sick. i.e. fever, vomiting, etc. Hunger pangs are feeling better than this. I'm cutting back on meal size and frequency. There seems to me no rhyme or reason connected to the type of food or drink.

For referance: 20, f, 5'9 180lbs

I've been dealing with this for a while now. When I was younger I would complain about stomach aches- mom finally took me to the doctor who put me on prilosect, which i took for a few weeks but discontinued because of no significant difference. I ate vegan from about age 16-18, vegetarian/sometimes fish 18-20 and have recently started gluten free. It's been about 1 1/2 months no gluten now and I was feeling alright, overall better until last week over thanksgiving I had some pie and cookies. Now I am really feeling the stomach discomfort, nausea, gas, diarreah etc. I always feel like I'm about to puke but never do. I'm wondering if this means I have a gluten intollerance of some sort? I'm sure its not celiacs or anything as I lead a manageable life aside from the half hour of discomfort after every meal (since the gluten slip). And any ideas about how long after slipping up with gluten the discomfort is supposed to last?

Okay I know this post is super old, but I had/have the EXACT same problems as you. I thought it was IBS or Celiac's disease. This was about 3ish years ago. I got all the tests including a colonoscopy. I took the liquid that clears you out the night before and it definitely worked. So I go, get the colonoscopy done. A few days later I go back to hear the results and he tells me that I still had a ton of liquid left in my stomach and bowels. He told me that could mean I have Gastroparesis. Which basically means my stomach -a nerve in my stomach- is paralyzed. I had another test where I ate some feral with radioactive stuff in it, then I laid down in a machine for an hour so it could track how my stomach was digesting the food. My stomach hardly moved during the hour. So he put me on some meds and I've definitely been WAY better. My "episodes" come in waves. A few weeks could be totally normal and I can eat with no issues. Then suddenly I start feeling sick, but I just take the meds and its all fine and dandy again. I would suggest you look into Gastroparesis, you never know. Let me know if you have any questions!

Sorry for the errors in this! Typing on my phone is not smart. I meant to write cereal not feral.
