on some occasions after sex I get very swollen down below and it is extremely uncomfortable and I realise this is because of lack of lubrication during sex.. I normally just leave it and its fine the next day however one night it was extremely uncomfortable so I decided to have a look and noticed that my left labia minora (think that is the right term- the inner lip) is much bigger than the other and is lumpy.. it doesn't hurt - I have symptoms of thrush (itchiness as well as discharge) and I have been using canesten (the pill and cream).. I've been using it for a couple of days and the rest of my symptoms have really calmed down still getting some discharge though but not a lot yet the swelling of my left labia is still there as are the lumps.. I don't know what to do and after looking all over the Internet I'm scared of what they could be :( really scared
Hi is this the first time you have actually looked at your labia to really pay attention to the lumps or have you checked before and they wasn't there?
hello, I've never ever noticed the lumps before and it is something I would notice I suppose... i notice the swelling of the labia after having intercourse on some occasions like I said but it normally goes down and never has lump things on it.. They aren't blistery or white or anything just little red spots?
My lady friend had the same problem. The clitoris and labia lips suddenly became swollen, so swollen that her clitoris extended beyond the labia. We went on line to find an answer and were dismayed that no one had a solution. Now this began with a cyst on the right side of her clitoris about a year ago. She wanted her gyn to remove it, buy the gyn was reluctant because of the nerves in that area. After two days of swelling something gave and blood and lymph fluid came forth with a vinegar odor. She proved it was not a vaginal discharge and it continued for about 2 1/2 days after which the cyst was gone.
After reading all these posts we noticed that a cyst was common amongst most. I hope this helps.
