Hello, 9 days ago I had a laparoscopy done and as expected I had some shoulder pain for about three days. 6 days after the laparoscopy I began having terrible shoulder pain. It is in both shoulders, but only usually one shoulder at a time(and usually my right shoulder). It's very widespread, my shoulder is affected most but it goes all the way from my neck to down half-way down my arm, and down my back an inch or two, also. Every time and bend over and stand back up it makes very sharp pains start, again. It's got to the point even opening doors causes a lot of pain. The back of the neck/head feels swollen but no swelling can be seen. I called my dr and they said to go to er. So, I was talking to somone in er and they said it was just gas pain. Although, this feels nothing like the gas pain I had after the surgery. Any idea what is affecting me? It's getting worse daily and no meds relieve the pain, not even the ones I was prescribed for the surgery. Some other symptoms I'm noticing, though not sure if related, is my speech tends to slur the past few days (without any alcohol or anything lol) and difficulty swollowing.
