I had a three piece implanted over two months ago and had nothing but problems. Infections, blood in urine, passing blood clots and excruciating pain while urinating. Before surgery I never had a problem with incontinence, now, I'm up every 2-3 hours, it's exhausting considering that the will be pain while going. I'm beside myself with the whole thing.
When I went back to have my doctor to show me how to inflate it for the first time, I thought I was going to die - there was so much pain that I nearly passed out! I had to wait for the pain to subside before he could deflate the damn thing. Since then I've have had nothing but problems (see above). I have not tried to inflate it since, just to apprehensive to try it out on my own.
My surgeon told me about the loss of length but there would be an increase in girth. Well, I didn't expect the dramatic loss of length and my girth was larger before the surgery. Totally disappointed.
After removal, what are the side effects?
Has anyone experienced this type of symptons/outcome?
The complications is my wife left me not to long after my radical prostatectomy for another guy. I thought this procedure would help me get my life back on track. It has done just the opposite.
They build it up like a panacea that you'll be having great sex because you control when to inflate/deflate the implant. I guess I bought into that and now I'm pay the price in pain, incontinence, wearing a pad all the time and my self-esteem.
For me at least, but I wouldn't have this done again.
