I had acute compartment syndrome twice and have had to have 4 fasciotomy in my lower leg 9 weeks ago. I now have severe swelling and pain of which I'm being told is nerve damage. How long will this last???
The nerve damage feels like you have a million needles poking you. I also experienced burning but that subsided after about 3 months. Now I am experiencing numbness and odd sensations in my toes when I touch my leg. It's weird. I'm super upset that I have to go through this permanent nerve damage nightmare
