im only 13, and have never shaved anywhere near my vagina.my mom made be put hot water and alcohol on it to get the puss out, and it worked. i have been putting antibacterial ointment on it and been cleaning it with soap and water every time i go to the restroom. and it is almost gone now, but my mom said it was a ingrown hair, but how i have never shaved my vagina, so i would like to know what the bump was or if my mom was right!

Bumps or an abcess as a result of hair follicle getting infected can be for various reasons. One of them is shaving and the other reasons could be hair getting pulled out with tight clothing and exercise. It is always wise to wash the area everytime you go to the rest room.
