Hi all!
New here!
Anyway my problem is this-
Since 2 or 3 days ago I noticed I had a feeling in my throat that felt as if something was stuck inside it, so I went up stairs had a look down my throat and discovered a small red bump I'd say just a little below my tonsils but not touching them, it's on it's own!
I have absolutely no pain whatsoever, no coughing, no wheezing, no loss of breath, nothing!
I have fiddled around with it and it just feels like a numb lump, I can move it around and stuff and it doesn't cause me any pain or distress even when it's being touched.
I suffer with extremely bad anxiety issues, stress and depression.
I have read online that sometimes anxiety can cause a lump, but I was confused as to whether people just felt a lump psychologically or it was actually there. When I'm not stressed or anxious (not thinking about this lump basically) it's like it's not even there, it's only when I think about it that I constantly swallow and sometimes feel tightness around my throat, that's all my fault, my negative mind loves making me worried lol
Something else that is strange, when I am thinking about the lump, if I were to eat or drink anything, the lump isn't effected, it is only when I swallow mucus in my mouth.
So yeah, no pain, just a small lump that causes me great anxiety and does nothing to actually effect me :P
