looking to id this infestation first and go from there, red bumps on body like scabies, have had before long ago, but not inbetween toes or fingers or private parts

Depending on where you live, it could be Chiggers. Do you live in the South East United States ? Have you been out in the woods or un=maitenanced landscapes ? Do they itch ? What do they look like and what size and color are they?
