i had my period dec sixtenth and now its jan and i havent seen my period but ii am starting to spot but its not dark and i told my mom and she said i should wait untill next month and get a test i want to go get one now because i am scared and i dont know what to think but im not cramping either....what should i do

Have you been sexually active?
It may just be that you're a bit irregular or maybe your period is starting now.
Waiting will increase the accuracy of the test and maybe, in the meantime, you'll have your period.
