Hello, I am a 13 year old who weighs 165lbs and my height is 5 foot 2 inches. I've basically been fat my whole life. I don't want to become skinny, really, I just want to lose like 10 pounds or so because I really don't want people to notice that I lost weight. Also, I hate being embarrassed and this is a topic that would embarrass me, so I really don't want to show that I'm trying to lose weight in public, not even in front of my parents or brothers. I know I sound really selfish, but I just don't want to stay as fat as I am for high school because I think everyone is going to make fun of me.
I also have this friend that eats WAY MORE than me, but NEVER GAINS WEIGHT! He also does go outside and exercises, but what makes me REALLY angry & jealous is that we both exercise as much as the other. So I gain, but he doesn't. It's just unfair.
I eat A LOT of veggies and some fruit. I limit myself to only water and fruit juice/aloe juice, no soda or anything like that. I try to not eat junk food, but when I hang out with my friends, it's impossible to resist. I try though. I eat A LOT of David's sunflower seeds. I feel like it's really bad for me.
Please help me, there's fitness testing in my school coming next week or so, and I feel like I'm going to embarrass myself in front of everyone including my friends because of my weight or I can't even do the flex arm hang off of a pole for a second.
In the end, I feel really frustrated at myself and the world because of this. I feel like every one of my friends eat a lot of junk and I try to limit myself but I'm the only one who gains weight. I also feel not confident because I have really low self-esteem. I'm also really lazy, and I hate myself for that too. Please, please, I beg you, please help me!
