hello, I need some advise...
on the 13th of this month I got my period, I have a very irregular period, and on sunday the 17th I had se& with my husband and he finish inside me, I really didnt think I could get pregnant while on my period, and then on the 18 I was already clear and didnt have much discharge and we did it again and he finish again inside me again... it was stupid but I dont know what was he thinking...
I can be pregnant right? I know its way too soon, it happen just 3 days ago but I need to know if anybody knows how can I know if im pregnant.. Im sure the test that they sell at the pharmacy wont do anything right now, maybe if I take a blood test??

Yes, women with irregular and crazy periods can still get pregnant. And yes, the tests at the pharmacys won't be accurate right now. Rule of thumb is to wait until the day before your missed period to take an at home test, although there are newer tests that can find the pregnancy hormone 5 days before your missed period. Since your periods are irregular, and you may not know when to expect your next period, you can take a test 15 days after the incident happened. If it turns out negative, it would be a good idea to test again around 19 days post incident to confirm the negative result.
Blood tests can detect a pregnancy earlier than a home pregnancy test because it finds even the smallest amount of the pregnancy hormone. They can detect pregnancy about 7-12 days from possible conception.
If you are trying to prevent pregnancy, it is still not too late to go and get the Plan B pill. This pill can be bought at CVS or other such pharmacies. It should be taken within 48 hours - although studies have shown that it is still somewhat effective for up to 72 hours (but not nearly as effective as if taken within 48 hours).
