Also i leave a funny yellowy colour discharge in my pants all the time, i have to change my underwear a couple times a day because of it. Also ive been having a irritation around the vagina, its kind of itchy and sore. I hope you can help and give me some advise on what i can do.

Hey ermgreat,

It sounds like you have a dose of thrush- a candida infection. That would explain the itching and discharge you're having. The peeing all the time isn't really synonomous with thrush, but some women do indeed experience a feeling that they want to pee a lot, only to 'trickle' when they get to the loo.

There could be another explanation for the need to pee a lot. Are you drinking a lot and not eating a lot? I have a problem that if I don't eat in the morning and instead, down loads of coffee- I'm peeing every half an hour!

If you have an increase in thirst and are peeing a lot (but your appertite hasn't changed)- that could be a sign of diabetes, which would seriously need checking out by a doctor.

Alternatively, you could have a dose of cistitis. Does it burn when you pee?

My advice would be: get some thrush cream, pessary or oral tablet- all are available in chemists- and don't be embarrased about asking for it. EVERY woman experiences thrush at least once or twice in her lifetime. It's NOT an STD (as some ignorant, uneducated people would believe)- it's an imbalance of bacteria and can be sparked off by hormonal changes, medication or stress (among a few triggers).

Then- if the cream doesn't work- go & see your doctor. If it's cystitis, you may need a course of anti-biotics and obviously, if it's something like diabetes, you will definitely need treatment & professional advice.

Good luck & I hope you recover soon.
