I started taking birth control a month ago. I started a week after my period, I have not gotten my period yet though, is it okay to miss your first period on birth control?
you are supposed to start birth control the Sunday during (or immediately after if your period comes M-F) unless otherwise instructed by your doctor. If you DO NOT have one by the END of month 2 of birth control, go see your doctor. He may have to skip the next month and do it properly.
For example: you start your period on Tuesday the 11 and you are off it by Friday the 14. Start your pack on Sunday the 16.
