okay im 13 and i weigh 205 lbs.
ive been bigg all my life but everyone say i dont look like a wiegh that much or anything like that i hate my body there is not a day that goes by that i dont wish i wasnt fatt...i hate it..i hadd have some good moments... but most of them r okay..but the ones that go badd i hate..okay back to my point...well i know im what im not sppose to eat..to be honest i rather eat helthy stuff all day and drink water than every thing else.... i even wish i wasnt alive somethimes.. my cousins and bro and sis call a whale, titanic,or a fat whale tramp...the reason i cant eat heathly food all the time is because it gets expensive and my mom doesnt by the helthest food and my family thought for a long time that i had a food addiction sometime i think i do.... i have medince for it and also i have a drinking disorder where im always thirsty... i was eating grapes with i was writing this hahaaahahaha.....

I am sure that you are feeling pretty overwhelmed right now but the first thing you're going to have to do if you want to change your body or lose weight is to be happy with yourself now. Just think--what if you were this weight forever? Would that be such a bad thing? Would you still be the same person? Once you're okay with yourself and you're able to accept yourself for who you are, then you can make changes. Be sure to consult with a doctor before losing weight (especially at your age!!) and then start some physical activity. Does that help you at all?

I know the feeling hun. Im 22 and been overweight since i was 13 as well.
Im curently 278lbs. im trying to get lapband surgery to help correct my eating habbits. Its one resource i am willing to take and use to help me lose weight.

Over all no matter what, to lose weight you have to Eat right and not over eat, and work out. Go for walks, get to a gym. Yes at that age you can do simple exercises.
Try this. Keep a food diary. Which is write down everythign you eat and the portion amount ( 1cup, 2cup, 6 oz 8oz) and write down the calories.
this will give you a good idea on what your eating, how much, and what it is costing you in calory wise.

Get your mom to get you an appointment with a doctor so you can adress your issues and concerns with them. They can then provide numbers and resources for you to help you lower you weight, what type of things you should eat and houw much, and help set up an exercise plan.

If after awhile no weight is lost, you might need to get checked out and have blood work done. I was check for any thyroid problems. It might seem scary but you want to get this under control now while its easier cause once you get older and dealing with it as an adult its alot harder to get rid of the weight due to lack of insurance, resources and more. So get this under control while you can.

I can't imagine your lonelines and despair that you feel everyday. I struggled with weight as a kid too until one day I asked my mom to help me get control. I'm okay now. The one thing I can tell you is that you need to look inside yourself and ask yourself what do you really want. I know it's hard with all the negativity, but remember you can change. Before you put anything in your mouth look at each bite of food and ask yourself "Does my body really need this right now or do I just find pleasure in eating this and therefore I want it?"

That really stopped me just sitting in front of the computer or TV and eating mindlessly. DONT GIVE UP!!!!!

Familychick I'm just interested if they found any problems with your thyroid. You have mentioned that they check you out for that.

Do you have any resources that you'd recommend for keeping track of your calories? I'd like to hear what you use. I have a couple myself but I'm always open to something that works better. Thanks!
