Instead, you will experience a "wet dream" or "nocturnal emission" when your system is producing semen and has no outlet. It may be startling at first, but it will be the unmistakable sign that you're producing.
In the meantime, you state you are producing sperm, but only like a few drops. I'm wondering if you are mistaking "pre-cum" that watery fluid that comes to prepare the way for ejaculation for sperm. This would appear to be "only a few drops" but the actual ejaculation is unmistakable as a series of rhythmic contractions that will propell the white sticking semen out of your penis.
