I don't see why you should be ashamed. Try and wear other clothes of course but when naked in changing rooms or elsewhere you should not be ashamed. All the boys your age have erections from time to time and some have frequent ones and some have their penis more or less erect nearly all the time. I was not one of those. My erections happened in the morning mainly and I think I had only maybe ten erections in the changing rooms in my whole life. When flaccid my penis is short but fleshy and I have quite large testicles which push it upwards, so my penis is always in a horizontal position even when it's not erect. I've seen only very few erections but there were 2 other boys who got easily erect and another one also whose penis was nearly always at least half erect. We were close friends and he told me that he had started getting erections very early and when puberty started they wouldn't go completely away anymore. I don't know if it's related but he had the biggest penis of us all and also the one which when erect would stand the highest, nearly vertical. Don't know how your schoolmates managed to stay natural. I was one of those boys who have frequent erections and it wasn't easy at all. It started with really erratic erections happening without any reason and at any moment which went away as quick as they came, lasting for a minute or 2 and then leaving my penis half erect for another couple of minutes until it was back to flaccid. Then these erections lasted for a longer period. That was when I was in 7th grade and at that time I was still the only one in my class with this problem. A year later there was another boy whose penis was sometimes erect and in High School there were 4 of us, but some seemed to never have an erection. By that time I had 2 or 3 erections in an hour, lasting usually 5-10 minutes, sometimes longer. This was a problem in the changing rooms, in sports class, in the swimming bath and also generally in summer when I would have liked to wear shorts like my friends. I tried it sometimes but I regretted it every time for I got erect and that was of course very visible. So, yes, I was ashamed because I thought the others must think I was turned on all the time which was not the case at all. I believe those not concerned should not write here. Walking around with a boner in your pants is hell, you check it all the time whether it shows (and of course it does) you grow enormously self-conscious about it, which doesn't help of course, quite the contrary. I don't believe you should call erections "abnormal" even if they are frequent. You may have been the only one, I had frequent erections when adolescent and even a few years into my aduthood, but in my class there were 2 other boys who sported the occasiaonal boner when undressed and 1 who I never saw without a stiff penis.
