Hello. I have been taking Seroquel for 9 months now. In December last year I experienced a trauma of extreme proportions. I could not sleep, so on the 4th night of not sleeping, we phoned my Psychiatrist for something to make me sleep and take the horrible dreams away. She prescribed 50mg of Seroquel. She knew the trauma I was going through and sent a script off to the pharmacy on a Sunday.
Please keep in mind that I have been seeing her for over 7 years; so she knows me well. I have been on a antidepressant (currently Cymbalta) for over 10 years now. I have been classified as Borderline Psychotic.
In the beginning the Seroquel was a godsend as I fell asleep after 10 minutes and NO DREAMING. I really thought it was just a sleeping pill. Until today.
