I have had abnormal bleeding for months sometimes bleeding for 2 months straight with heaving bleeding and severe cramps. Went to the Dr. and they put me on birth control pills (only taking the active pills) They recently called me and said my thyroid was abnormal and put me on levothyroxin 25mcg, but since then I started my period again with heavy bleeding and severe cramps and I am still on the active birth control pills (ortho novum). How long should it take before I start feeling better and is this normal? I have been on the borth control pills for approx. 5 weeks and levothyroxin for approx. 2 weeks. Please help!!!
