It's simply deoxygenated blood from your uterus cleaning itself out. Unless there's a foul odor as well don't worry but if you like me are paranoid about your health just schedule a check up with your ob gyn to get a definite say. I hope you feel better

Could u please update. I'm going through the exact same thing. I had sex two weeks later and the next morning I was bleeding out of control. I was soak through pads in 10mins. 2 weeks later.. I'm still bleeding and its heavier somedays with a lot of clots. There was also a odor that comes and goes. I'm worried I don't see my gynecologist for another week.

I know a friend that had an abortion awhile back but she was scared to go back to the doctors after she had her procedure. Everything was fine periods. Thank you for writing this! I just had my 2 week post op check up. They gave me the go to take a bath and go back to normal so I of course devices to masturbate and now I'm bleeding again. Bothered me at first cuz it's heavier than I was bleeding the week after the abortion but I assume it's normal, put a pad in to watch it. I bled the first week after, second week had nothing, now third week I'm bleeding more heavily but not as much as my regular period. Everyone's body is different :)
