Hello,
I periodically suffer from a small swelling on the lowest part of the outer ear, which generally lasts one or two days before becoming unnoticeable, but its been happening quiet often recently and was wondering is there any treatment I can get to stop it from rising up again in future?

Hello Komerade,
As far as I can tell it is enlarged lymph node and this is usually a sign that your body is fighting against some sort of infection. Sometimes it can be flu and sometimes something more serious. I believe that there is no need to be worried about this and especially if you don’t experience any other symptoms related to this.
When you notice it again try to increase intake of vitamin C and to eat more healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables because by doing this you will help your body to fight against infection.
If you notice some other symptoms together with the appearance of the lump than consult your doctor just to be sure what is in question.
