Is Chiropractic a legitimate form of treatment?

The answer to this question is absolutely YES!  All Doctors of Chiropractic have to have an extensive education similar to medical school and even more hours in certain subjects such as x-ray, neurophysiology, neuropathophysiology and spinal bio-mechanics. All Chiropractors must have a state license to practice from thier state boards or regulatory agency of the state they practice in. Chiropractors in Texas are diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal problems which is related to what Chiropractors call "Vertebral Subluxations" which are misaligned vertebrae of the spine which can cause a nuerological manifestions in what ever muscle, joint, oran and/or tissue that particular "pinched nerve" supplies. More and more people are discovering the bnefits of natural, drug free Chiropractic Treatment.

This is typical in the response we see as DC's. Usually it's from people with a vested interest in defaming Chiropractic, but let your research guide your decision. At the minimum, our level of risk is so low that we have the lowest - LOWEST - malpractice insurance rate of all Health Care Providers. If what we did was risky, or didn't work, our rates would soar...and yet, they remain very low.

Chiropractic First -- Surgery or Pain Pills should always be your last option.

MD's and DC's education differ in speciality. A MD recieves a sound basic knowledge of medicine and specializes in a specific area, urology, internal medicine, etc. A DC also receives a comprehensive education in medicine, they are licensed to diagnose and treat, especially muscular and skeletal conditions.
Evidence of the effectiveness of chiropractic can be found in PubMed and various other journals.
