My son is 4 years old and he complained yesterday on pain in his neck/shoulder area. We got a rush appt at our chiro and she was able to adjust him, but he is still really sore. I can see Tylenol did nothing to help. I'm wondering if I can use a mentholated muscle rub on him or is there any other ideas that will help?

Well Tylenol can only help mask the pain, but what he needs is an anti-inflammatory like motrin to bring down the inflammation in that area. The chiropractor is really the best option. The muscle spasm in that area can force him to "lose" the adjustment, so it may take another couple of adjustments to get him back to normal.I hope your little guy heals quickly!
