Hello, I am a worried mother that needs help for her 2 months old child. She started throwing up and does not gain weight. We thought that it is something that will pass on its own, but it did not. The doctor said that duodenoduodenostomy has to be performed. Is that always necessary? Is there some other way? She is just way too young for something like that.

Well, if the doctor said that it is the best thing to do then that has to be done. This condition is a serious one, because of the problem in duodenum; food cannot pass to the colon and be used for the organism. So it is better for her to be subdued to a procedure like this in time, so that her development will continue properly.
