Hello. So, I will cut my long story short. At least, I will try lol. Anyway, a couple of months ago, my gynecologist told me that I have a uterine prolapse. Nothing serious, he told me, so there is no reason for me to be scared a lot. But, he also told me that he will seek some good treatment and we still do that. I find an information that estrogen can actually help me in this. But I don't want to experiment without any experience. So, I want to hear what you think about this - is estrogen helpful for uterine prolapse treatment?

Sure, I think that this is actually the best or at least, estrogen is an important adjust in the conservative management of patients who have this diagnose. I was reading a lot and I heard a lot of people talking about this and generally about uterine prolapse treatment and somehow, I think, they always had the same opinion about this and they were always telling that the most common medication used to help treat pelvic organ prolapse is actually a estrogen.  According to the experts, there are more estrogen receptors in the vagina than anywhere else in the body. So, it really makes a sense.

Good day. I was reading a lot about this topic as well, especially when I wanted to find out something about the estrogen, that is not related to this topic at all. But, I found an information that estrogen plays an important role in collagen and elastin metabolism of connective tissues through down-regulating matrix metalloproteinases and increasing cystatin C expression. Now, since you are not an expert, just like me, you probably don't have a clue what this means, but I can say that I went one step away and I found out that all of those statistics are also related to a uterine prolapse treatment and that estrogen is really helpful for it. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that I am not wrong.

Hi there. topical estrogen is also very important adjunct in the conservative management of patients who have certain issues with uterine prolapse. When operative repair for prolapse of the uterus is chosen, a clear surgical plan must be formulated and done, but you need to know that the pelvic surgeon should consider some surgical risks, coital activity, and normal vaginal anatomy. So, yes it is very important. But there is one thing that you should also know, that vaginal prolapse cannot be prevented in every case, so I also do believe that in those cases estrogen won't be that helpful...

If it is, I am willing to try. so, please, don't hesitate to write whatever you know about this thing, why and how estrogen is really helpful. any good advice or any good information would help me a lot. because my doctor was not sure about this so I need to seek for an alternative answer. thank you.

Are we talking about vaginal estrogen therapy in here? That is a non-surgical option for the treatment, just like exercise, vaginal pessary and some other methods are. I have heard that this is really good, but I don't know how this actually can replace a surgery. I am wondering because my doctor recommended me to try this type of treatment before he suggests a surgery. But, I have to be totally honest with you. Even if I am scared, I really want this nightmare in my case to be over. Even if that means that surgery is the only solution, which I do believe that it is only a reasonable solution. But I just want to hear your opinion about this estrogens treatment? Tnx in advance!

Will you have a surgery or you will try this type of treatment depends on you, that is your choice, of course, followed by your doctor's suggestion and analyses. Anyway, I think that you are not so into this all thing about estrogen, why estrogen is good and what it can do for you. Estrogen can treat so many conditions, and some of those that are treated with vaginal estrogens include a genital skin condition, inflammation of the vagina and inflammation of the urethra. This product is available in cream and tablet shape. Now, will this be your perfect solution, no one knows. Until you try.
