hi i had a baby 14weeks ago me n bf was silly just over 3 weeks ago on day after my last period we had sex but never used a condom twice...i am due on my period in just over a week..but 3-4 days ago i had a brownish discharge and then a little bit of fresh red blood but nothing since im also feel very sick at certain foods and smells and have a sore lower back...could i be pregnant or do you think it could be hormonal..i thought i had the flu with my last baby til i missed a period..when should i do a test or is it to early thanks x

It is possible to get pregnant very soon after giving birth. I'd wait a day or two until it is 7-6 days before your period is supposed to come and then take an pregnancy test, which detects the pregnancy hormone before you miss your period. You've got to be really careful because many women are very fertile after giving birth. I have neighbors who have 5 children who are all 10-11 months apart in age!
