Adderall is considered a synthetic meth. Basically the Nerophedrine in Adderall is like suboxin to cut down the intensity of it. I am prescribed Adderall for my ADD and have tried Meth because someone told me it would give me the same effects and I honestly couldn’t see a difference between the two feelings. I’m not trying to say do meth in anyway but if your on Adderall like I am you basically already are just in a controlled version. It all relates to the war on drugs in America. The government pays Mexico and other countries to bring it in so they can 1) make Adderall and other uppers and 2) make money off of users who are sent to prison for being caught using. If the government didn’t have drugs smuggled into America there would be a greater debt then were already in. They make there money from getting “Meth”and “Cocaine”( and any other stimulants) and slightly changing the chemical compound of it and selling it as prescription narcotics. Along with prisons making money off of all the inmates paying money for there fines and court fees and all the other great things they make you pay for. Drug offences make up 80% of the inmate population in our prisons. Yes I understand most drugs are illegal and harmful but so are the prescriptions that the government give you. In my opinion I would rather smoke pot and not get into drug addiction like prescription pills will. I’ve smoked pot for over 3 years and I can go weeks without it and have no signs of withdrawals like my grandma does when she runs out of her OxyContin.

lol that is funny and mostly true. i had history first thing in the morning in high school and never could stay awake . i should have drank coffee but ive never liked it. i wasnt diagnosed with adhd until i was almost 21.

ive been on adderall for a very long time and someone i knew gave me a vyvanse one time and it didnt do sh*t to me. perhaps she emptied out the capsule or something.

well i have been taking adderall generic ir for nearly 20 years now. i dont think it has damaged my brain but i can relate to the antisocial thing . although i think i have other reasons for being less social like no car since 2012 and i suck at saving money. i wish there was a drug for that. i guess sleeping more would help lol.

My moms psychiatrist put her on Adderall and she's 56 with OCD which she probably didn't tell her Dr that .. she's also a habitual liar .. I bet dr doesn't know that either. My concern is Why would you be on adderell at 56 years old? It has made her OCD way worse!

Yes, I was a crystal meth abuser for 10 years, smoked ice for 5 years, Adderall at high doses like 100mg a day actually gets gives the same feeling, wacks you out the same. Keeps you up for weeks. That’s A fact I know.

Yes , agreed. Actually Adderall at high doses is crazy, I have tweeked stayed up 11 days. Might even be worse that meth , but a minimum just as bad, very addictive. So many people I know whacked on Adderall wow bad stuff

Well, it wont make someone who actually has adhd bounce off the walls. And it can make someone who has adhd feel like a zombie because of being so hyperfocused.
However aside from the brand name , i swear some of the generics are so vastly different that they are not even equivalent , unless its the fault of body chemistry. Maybe my body could tell mallinckrodt from sandoz and because they dont even look or taste the same my body refused access to help it work like normal adderall.
The sad thing about this medication is its really easy to dispute any claims a patient or anyone else might say because its one of those meds that can be claimed to blame it on the med taker. Saying oh they are crazy or its all in their heads

I agree though about the meth comment they are so similar that who knows maybe they are the same but hell if anyone is going to say that because that would be exactly what would break loose. Hell. But the amounts of what is in adderall is not even enough to do the same type of harm that meth will besides with meth you never even know what the hell you are really getting anyway off the street
But i guess the same can be said for pharmacies although i do believe that if what i suspect is true the only reasons or intentions for carrying a placebo generic was not to cause harm or make more profit. However those side effects of heartburn and severe headache werent too nice. That was likely caused by my brain being confused not knowing what to do with or how to process this pill made by mallinckrodt and the heartburn was my heart feeling burned by a placebo lol

Actually, Meth and Adderall are basically the same chemically. The only difference is a double methyl group which makes ice more potent. Meth and Adderall have the same side effects and also the same addictive properties. Just because drug companies made a more pure "safer" version doesn't mean it's not a drug thats similar and it's not habit forming. It's about big pharma business and in my opinion it was a way for drug companies to make a safer time released meth. It's still BS and it can still kill you if abused.
