hi i am a 13 year old boy i am the second best i the country for flat water canoeing and i was wondering if 4 weight training sessions a week lifting 11k in a range of exercises 4 time in each session i also do 4 4-6 mile runs a week plus 2 1.30 session actually canoeing. is this to much for my age if u could get back to me that would be fantastic thank you.

Sure, you can lift weights.

Just remember to start with light weights, go slow, and focus on proper form.

Also focus on doing more reps and getting toned rather than lifting very large amounts of weight.
