it’s so weird because i’ve tanned for months at a time in the past but just recently when i started back up i’ve been getting bumps literally almost everywhere. they itch too. i’ve skipped a day and went back and they still came back, but they go away over night! i’m planning on not going back for a few days to see if the burn will be completely gone. but i don’t get it! i usto tan in the summer and now three months later using the same beds at the same place and i’m getting this weird allergic reaction! makes no sense :(

I too experience the annoying bumpy dots from tanning. I get a base going in spring and then hope to have good days in the sun and give up the bed, which I long switched to standing only. I don't get them from natural sun and I try to avoid sunburn. So it's a side effect of that extreme fake suntan. Our choice, huh? :/

I get these bumps on my chest and my inner arms only. It only started 2 years ago. I am already tan from going to Florida (I did not get this reaction from Florida) and just wanted to maintain it so I went to my tanning salon and used the stand up as always. Did not feel it until the middle of the night when I was awoken with this awful itch and swelling on my arms. My chest did not swell. It's not as bad now but I still have it after 2 days. This happened last year as well for the first time and just in a tanning booth. Used them all the time prior without any bad reaction. I am not on birth control so I was wondering what else it could be from?

Ok so I k know a lot of these posts are from a long time ago but I came across this looking for answers about baby powder affecting my tanning bed tan. I thought maybe I could answer ur question instead it’s yeast try using Nizoral or any over the counter ketoconezole shampoos or body washes. Tests that’s naturally on ur skin has clogged ur hair follicles u need to kill the yeast. I had the exact same issues as all of u until I found a post when I did a google image search of my bumps and had tried everything else the bumps went a way after a week of washing my body w nizoral shampoo leaving it on for ten minutes usually while I shave my legs and other areas then rinse it off and follow with a dual antibacterial soap get out dry off and sometimes if it’s really hot and I know I’m gonna sweat a lot in general I throw on some after shower powder.
