I have it on my neck, back, inner arms, hands, groin creases, and the back of my legs. It burns when water hits it, and itches on and off. when I scratch it burns, when I sweat it burns. My skin has gone from a raised area that looks like a hive to a red round itching scaling area, to a shiny slippery fuzzy feeling lesion. I have tried everything from tea tree oil, to monistat, a total of 20 products over the counter, and have changed my soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent over 4 times. Now my skin in these areas burn and feels tight and leathery. I have been the the family Dr., Allergist, and Dermatologist. I have used steroids and it made it worse. I look like i have 2nd degree burns on my body. I have no ball sack thank god. I will keep you updated on the progress through this madness.

allergies, probably food, then when the itch demands the scratch, skin breakdown happens, then bacteria gets started to enhance infection. when having the rash mode active, the burning may come from scrotal discharge, which could be epididymitis. Cure: stop eating foods that cause you to itch and burn. Bathe more often, not with hot water, but more lukewarm. Do not rub dry with towel, pat dry and use hairdryer on cool for folds of skin. Buy some happy sacs to wear to keep skin from chaffing. Use cortizone cream on itches. Prednisone too risky for regular use; however, in a heavy attack utilize by contacting your doctor.

I would try this prescription cream called Nystatin, you have to get a a dr. to write it for you, its very strong but I think I got seborrhea dermatitis, it all started with the rubber handle on my cane and the next thing I got a rash like fungus on my palm, then being right handed it seems it started spreading all over now I have sores and itchy scrotum to no end end, I thought the Nystatin would of killed it by now but this c**p is like a life of its own eating away, plus yes I feel like I got stuff crawling on me all the time and I live in a very clean house no bed bugs or scabies just some highly contagious skin eating alien fungus, ever hear of morgellons disease, now that is some scary sh*t that has fibers growing out of your skin, Ive seen some videos not no made up bs but by documentaries, by national news companies, where these all colored type of fibers grow out of the skin and people tried to get tweezers to pull them out and they went back in the skin, I mean that is some very weird stuff, this gov. has all kind of stuff and they wont tell no one about it. I know I sure wouldn't want to be raising a family in this century, I tell you the government has stuff that, could wipe out the whole human race if it got out, I really think these pathogens and diseases are all formulated in a government labs 10 floors under the surface, look at Roswell , 50 years later and things are still being questioned? They always have a antidote to whatever they are experimenting on. Ok till later be carefull what you do. This is a nightmare and its coming true! widowmaker.

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for anyone with a success story for the red burning scrotum, normal skin down the center and on the very bottom, and folliculitis like bumps on the thighs where scrotum touches the leg but NOT generally the crease of the leg along with occasional irritation along front waistline. My story:
I'm a mid 30s, normal, professional, educated guy. I've had this over a year now. It started when my wife received oral sex from someone else. A week later she had a bad yeast infection, saw the gyno, got a pill. 2 days after hers started, my scrotum started burning and turned red. Went to the urgent care and was prescribed Ketocozanole cream. While on the cream, spread to folliculitis like red bumps on my thighs where scrotum touches the leg, but NOT red in the crease like in traditional jock itch. Thought for sure it was herpes, but they never blistered and didn't hurt, just the burning on the scrotum skin. Went to general Dr. who thought for sure it was yeast and not herpes. Gave me oral terbafine. Marginal improvement in bumps but no help for scrotum. Went to Derm #1, which said it was contact dermatitis. Did a scrotum biopsy which showed slight spoginosis and was told to change my soap. Tried that (including no soap) went back, given steriods, shot of cortisone, Prednisone, all zero help. Also tried doxycycline.
Sent to University Hospital derm. Woods lamp test neg, skin scraping neg. Diagnosed lichen simplex chronicus. Tried doxepin, tacrimilous, no help. Sent to University derm #2. He believed it was nerve related. Given gabepentin, MRI on back, no help. He believed the folliculitis was mallezezia. Sulfur scrip, niorzol shampoo, nada. Tried Doing nothing and it just gets worse.
Urologist thought yeast and prescribed oral flocunzaole and Nystatin cream. The cream seemed to help with the bumps some.
Went to another derm recommended by my general Dr. She biopsied the bumps on my thigh, scrotum, and cultured skin. Bump showed fungal forms consistent with magocchis granuloma. Scrotum showed eczematous process with sparse inflammatory cell infiltrate. Contact dermatitis Also consistent with partially treated tinea. All cultures came back negative, but one skin swab showed Candida. Prescribed oral terbafine.
Allergist did patch test and gave me eucrin. No dice.
Used oral terbafine with lots of baby powder and bumps receded but scrotum never stopped burning or redness. She then prescribed oral itracozanole. 2 days on that and the bumps spread to my chest along the breastline (I'm not overweight). So I quit and went back. She scratched her head and said we will keep trying. Said it was maybe Grover's disease.
Prescribed 8 weeks of oral flunconazole for wife and myself. I'm on week 4.
I've tried about 100 different things not listed above over the past year from Chinese herbs to gluten free diet. I'd really like to hear from anyone with a success story with my similar symptoms. The variations of talc powders (anti monkey butt, gold Bond, snake brand prickly heat, and fresh balls) are the only things that give any relief. Mine is also one of the ones that seems better when I first wake up in the morning and I'm laying down.
Anyone with a suggestion who has a success story along with what your exact symptoms were?
