I am a 20 year old female. I am a virgin and so is my boyfriend, we plan on being that way till marriage. However, the other day he was fingering me, and it got sore after a while, which always happens. but i sort of felt a burn. so we stopped. The next day my vagina felt itchy but i ignored it. Late that night i decided to scratch it (with my underwear on), then it felt itchier than before. I went to bathroom and looked at it. the inside of the labia was red and the viginal lips looked red too. my left vaginal lip was larger than the right. I washed it with cool water a couple of times and I felt alot better. the itching is still there right now (this is the second day) but it has subsided after the cool water. Could this be something serious? I come from this very uptight family and i live with my parents, and i would be really scared to ask my mother to take me to a doctor. Please help!
