over this summer i smoked weed close to everyday. but now im trying to cut back because its not so entertaining anymore. but it seems that every 4-5 days after i last smoked i start getting really irritated and i just have problems thinking in general. today in school instead of doing my work id just sit there cause i couldnt concentrate. but then if i do smoke, the next day i can think again. i thought this was strange atleast toward the saying that weed makes you dumber because in my situation its kind of doing the opposite. I need weeds to think. my plan has been to try going an extra day every period between smoking to slow down until i dont get irritated anymore. its been working so far. i started skiping one day without smokeing, then eventually 2 days without smoking, then 3 days, then 4, but now it seems every time i hit the 4th day that hard to concentrate feeling comes back. Im just wondering if my method will keep working if i do smoke on the irritated days, or if i really have to suffer though them. i feel like it will just keep getting worse.
today was my first 5 day "waiting period" and it really sucked. I just want to beable to think easily again without getting a mind blowing headache everytime i try and do somthing cognative.

It sounds to me like you're suffering from withdrawal symptoms (yes, it's possible to be addicted to pot!) and that's why you're having trouble getting past the five day mark. You have to sort of tough it out until things get better. Does that help at all?

I forgot to mention that in the first week you generally will suffer with some issues of sleeping. Do not be afraid to take a sleeping pill for this first week. How is your sleeping doing?
