Hi, I'm 28 and for some time now I've noticed I'm losing my hair. So far it's nothing dramatic, but I don't want to wait for the "see through' thing or for the bald spot on top. I've got no brother but a cousin on my father's side is balding and he's 30 and of course my father is bald so I think I'm in for the real thing. I'd like to shave it all off but I don't know if it's not too early for that and I'm afraid of the result. Anyone who wants to share his experience?

I believe you're overreacting and you should stay it for some time. Late 20ies, yes that's the time in life when it hits most of us, if it hasn't before. But you'll be surprised how long it can linger on before you can really be called bald. You'll even get used to the bald spot on top and feel that you're still not bald because you have hair in the front. So give it some time before you do anything like shaving it all off. Don't you have a girlfriend to calm you down? Some girls love it and some even love the process of it. I should know I'm married to one such girl. She was used to it from a young age because her father was bald and her brother was balding early and they have 9 years of difference of age so when she was 12 he had already a bald spot. Before we knew each other she was with someone older who was already half bald when they met and one of the first things she told me was that she loved my hair and I told her well that's bad news for it's thinning on top and she said yes she noticed that's what she meant that she got a thing for it.

If your father is bald, you are more likely to experience suffer hair loss. You need to consult a Trichologist. He/will suggest you some appropiate treatment for managing hair loss.
