I was eating M&M's and on the left side of my mouth I bit into one and I got a shock on my bottom jaw. My jaw hinge does hurt. It only hurts when I was eating M&M's. I'm 19 and I only have 2 molars on each side top and bottom. My mom thinks I'm getting my wisdom tooth on my bottom left side, but it hasn't broken through the gums yet. Can anyone help me?
I think that you could possibly have a cavidy that is being exacerbated by the chewing motion. I think that going to a dentist would be your best course of action and if they can't find anything, try getting an x-ray. What do you think?

If it was a cavity then it would hurt all the time when I chew and it doesn't. The area of the jaw right around the earlobe is what hurts. When I bit into an M&M I got a shock in my mouth. When I was eating dinner before and chip after nothing hurt. So I'm pretty sure its not a cavity. Thanks for the help anyways. It might be the start of my third molar coming out.
