Okay, well it all began last winter when I was diagnosed with patellar tendinitis in my right knee. The orthopedic doctor suggested that I do physical therapy 3 days a week for 9 weeks, but with my busy, indefinite agenda, I was never sure when to make my appointments. Since I play sports throughout the summer & fall, I bought a knee brace to hopefully alleviate the pain and keep my leg from feeling like it was going crooked.. I began to notice a weird change in my hips. My left side (the injured side), seemed to fall lower than the other side, and it became hard to build and maintain my muscles in that leg, my glutes, & the left side of my abs. In fact, most of the time, I don't even feel the muscles flex when I work out.
The next thing I noticed was my shoulder acting up, like it's out or something. I now feel the muscle weakness/inability to maintain muscles in that arm, and even that sided of my neck.
The most recent trouble I've had is with my ribs (and, of course, only on my left side). They're starting to poke out and I'm able to put my fingers under the protrusions. They don't constantly hurt, but it's more of an annoying pain when I lay down in any position, and sometimes I feel sharp pains if I move the wrong way. My waist measurement even went up a little, but I haven't really gained any weight except for the softness that came with the muscle problem, haha.
I know I probably sound crazy, and I'm not sure if all of these problems are even related to eachother, but due to the circumstances and some things that I've read, I thought it would be pretty weird if they weren't..
Anyways, I NEED some input before I drive myself insane hahaha
Thanks,
Alexandra
