Hi, I am scheduled for a laproscopy in two weeks, and my impatience is growing. I am a little nervous about this treatment, because we were adviced to use laproscopy by a doctor who has great experience in the field.

Hi, when I went to lap for the first itme, I was also very nervous. Usually a lap is a simple procedure that is quick to recover from. The doctor will take out what he considers should not stay inside.. I've had a lap with a minimal endo removal and it took me 4 or 5 days to recover. But last lap I had an ovary removed,g deal for me. I have been for a month trying to recover but it will still take some more time. Most of women have some tummy pain and influence of anesthesia can also be debilitating. An ice pack for stomach can be beneficial, pain relievers are also advisable. Drink lots of liquids and avoid totaly any lifting during recovery period.

I had undergone laproscopy last week. Saline is given for 1 and half days after operation. The pain is very negligible. Not to lift weights for 10 days nearly. Liquid food to be taken the day prior to laproscopy and the day after. But overall nothing to worry. Easy procedure.
