I have the same thing happen to me during every period, usually on the 3rd day and then the last 2 days I have no pain at all. Usually the pain comes shooting and I can't sit still in one place I end up running to the shower and turning on the water so it's hot enough that I can still handle it or I sit on the table. The pain lasts for less than a minute after the large blood clot passes. I've always wanted to explain it to my doctor but I don't think he'll understand so I never bothered to ask.

Hello. I'm currently experiencing very large clots of blood. And a lot of pain on my lower right side. The doctor thinks it could be a cyst on my ovary. I've been prescribed tablets to stop the bleeding. I've been refered to a gynocolgist.

Have you went to your local job and family services to apply for insurance? I have PCOS and Hypothyroidism. I recently had my thyroid removed. Im still on a journey to figure this out and fix it but i am encouraging you to look into hypothyroidism, PCOS, fibroids, and endometriosis. You may have to find other doctors. I had to switch to get this far. I have an endocrinologist and an ENT to help me with the same issue. Smh

Hi, I have the same problem... I'm not sure if you can still respond but have you found out what the problem was? Does anyone else know what this means? My doctor doesn't even know what it can be.

No offense but I know plenty of woman that were diagnosed with Endo AFTER having kids. So that Dr. you talked to was uninformed.

My doctor told me the large clots are due to too much estrogen. I have to take progesterone so i don't have unending periods with huge clots. Last time I ran out if progesterone for 3 months, my period was so heavy that my uterine fibroid fell out. The cramping for that was severe of course. It was about an inch of hard marble!
