I have had pain episodes in my left upper side under my ribs off and on for about 6 mo. Today I was standing and out of nowhere the pain came and I ended on the floor. Could this be my colon. I do have diarreah and have for years. I am 62 years old. Is it possible it could be muscle spasms from IBS or even my spleen. I have never drank alcohol but I eat sweets all the time. My tryglycerides are high and I am about 40 lbs. overweight. Should I try a liquid diet before I see my doctor. Please suggest something.
