Is there a guage for judging the normal level of testerone in the blood test, In the same manner as thyroid. I there is, could you please inform me what it is. Many many thanks H. Sahraee
Normal testosterone level : Total testosterone=520ng/dl, free testosterone=1.33ng/dl (average for 452 subjects)
Borderline testosterone level : Total testosterone=400ng/dl, free testosterone=0.92ng/dl (average for 240 subjects)
Low testosterone level : Total testosterone=190ng/dl, free testosterone=0.46ng/dl (average for 166 subjects)
Total testosterone below 250ng/dl is considered low.
