Lexapro for OCD

I'm also tapering of paxil for laxapro. Really hope this works and hard to see light at end of tunnel recently:-(

Anyway hoped it worked for you and we battle on...

Jesus bless you. Your message is enough to put an OCD person on curing path. I appreciate what you wrote and I also was diagnosed with bipolar and other doctor said it is OCD. So I am taking noe seroxate and camcolite lithium. Till now I am ok

How much do you take

I have really bad OCD and have had for many years.. Dr put me on zoloft and it helped more then anything I tried. Bad side effect was having body movement matching Parkinson. Went off it and that went away after 4 weeks. Now my OCD is really bad and Dr. wants me to try Lexapro due to my age.(OLD). Read the side effects of it and it also says a side effect can also be Parkisonism. My OCD was my thinning hair and I lost more when on the Zoloft. Lexapro has exact side effects only neither list them unless you google zoloft and Lexapro and side effect of hair loss and Parkinism.(sp) I keep looking at the Lexapro and afraid to try it. My OCD needs something. Side effects or my body jerking all the time? Zoloft did help the OCD. Not all people get the same side effects So it may be great for you. I have studies them all and seems like it is the best for OCD. Good luck.. Hope this helps.
