I am a 49 yr old caucasian female with tubal ligation almost 12 years ago.
In mid 2007 I was diagnosed with a 4 cm chocolate cyst that was suspicious; a week later the tech couldnt find it.
Since then my symptoms have steadingly increased.
Thay are:
Rapid weight gain (went form 140 to 190 in two months but now stable at 190); heavy irregular periods ( sometimes 3 in a month), light spooting or heavy breakthrough bleeding); dull ache in tailbone; sense of fullness; bloated stomach; migraines; hot flashes; and, a feeling of my mind "being in a fog".
((I also consume alcohol (don't tell me to stop) and my mother died (some 13 years ago) of breast cancer (which originated in her chest wall and did not show up on any mamogram). I also have saline implants that are now some 14 years old. I also have RSD in my right lower leg. ))
I have tried googling all my symptoms, but nothing comes up other thna pregnancy sites and I am not pregnant; heck I havent even had sex in years ( so I can't say if sex is painful). I do know if I have an orgasm in my sleep, I wake up with terrible cramps that are centered more towards my tailbone than anything though my pelvic floor aches as well, and feel like I need to have bowel movement to relevie them, but cant have one; it is awful.
Any thoughts or helpful comments?

I forgot to add bloody noses and strong nausea with my symptoms...
Have you checked the symptoms for endometrioses? I have read up on them lately and some fit your description. Get to a doc.
I am 36 years old and for the past 4 or 5 years I have had all of the same problems, body aches, irregular cycles, horrible pelvic pains, breat aches, lactating, my uterus fills like it contracts when I lactate, lower back pains going down my leg, long and heavy cycles, head aches, cyst that don’t that stay for months, and very frustrated. I was going to my Primary Doc and they could not figure it out so she told me it was all in my head and gave me a pill. I was angry and moved to another doctor. It was a coincidence I went to my eye doctor and my peripheral vision was going bad, sight changing etc. He told me get a cat scan and finally found that I had a lesion on my pituitary gland. This gland regulates hormones and could explain many of my symptoms. I have to go for more tests, blood work and see an endocrinologist. I have a long maternal history of ovarian cancer as well. I took the genetic test it came back negative. But as I was told this is the only gene that they look for and there are many they don’t know about yet that is connected to this type of cancer. Keep trying to find a doctor that listens. Please don’t give up your bodies are telling you there is something wrong. A lot of docs now a day are pill happy and their practice has become a numbers game. I have also used an acupuncturist to control pain it she works wonders.
Thank you for the information; I too suffer from quickly failing eyesight ( I never needed glasses and had very wide range perif vision all my life, well, up til two years ago or so; never considered it a medical related issue, just figured getting old...
I suppose I need to go see a doctor; I just get tired of getting these students who seem to know less than I do and they don't care to boot....
