I would love some more experienced dieters to help me choose a diet that will make you lose a few pounds in one day. Then, if I keep that up for a few days I will lose the 6 pounds that I need to. I don't care what kind of diet it is, as long as it doesn't involve eating meat because I am a vegetarian.

I just finished with the Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet and I lost 10 lbs in total. I don't think you are supposed to do it for days and days on end, so I did two days, then ate normally (avoiding fatty foods of course) and then did two more days, followed by one day of the Grapefruit diet. And that all resulted in me losing 10 lbs. I was very pleased!
